After graduation in 1997 from Sherman Kendall Academy I worked in the film business for several years doing hair and makeup. In 2005 I left the business and started salon work. For a short time I had a small business with a friend called Parker&Latham. We offered on location hair and makeup for weddings and events. We did some beautiful weddings all over the Salt Lake and Deer Valley areas. One of the weddings I did was published in the 2013 issue of Utah Bride and Groom.

I worked at Reflections Salon until 2007 then moved to Aura Hair and Body Studio. During my time at Aura I became “Deva” certified in the naturally curly methods of coloring, cutting and styling.
I became a licensed Cosmetology Instructor in the State of Utah in 2007 and apprenticed a friend for a little over a year.
In 2009 I was awarded “Best Colorist” in Salt Lake City Magazine’s Best of the Beehive.

I am a certified “Loreal Expert” in cutting and coloring. In the salon I use the Loreal Professional color lines Inoa and Diacolor. I am an “ammonia free” colorist which means my products are gentle on your hair and do not have the strong ammonia smell.

I had the pleasure to have Lindsey Vonn as a client. Her personality is as fun to work with as her long locks! She has been photographed many times with the color I have done.

I have loved being in the salon. It’s very different from film work and requires a completely new set of skills and creativity. I worked at Salon MC from 2014-2018. In July 2018 I took over an existing salon called Greg’s Hair Design in Millcreek. It has been a fun adventure! Most of the stylists stayed on board and are real pros at what they do. I’ve added a few new people as well. The unique thing about Refinery33 is that we have such and eclectic group of stylists and truly can meet the needs of anyone who walks in our door!
